Sunday. A typically quiet day in the Witchy household as we are usually: (a) sleeping in (b) sleeping off from Saturday's excesses (c) just bloody sleeping.
It used to be (and still is) a lazy day to potter around the house and just be a bum but not this weekend. For this last weekend I managed to hie my ass out of bed and even dragged Belle out for my aunt's birthday brunch at the Pierside Kitchen & Bar.
Located right by the waters at One Fullerton, this little restaurant serves one of the best Sunday brunches in my books. Eat your heart out Danny...or better yet, check out the pictures in my flickr account! Where each photo comes with it's very review and the foodie's choice.
So, cutting to the chase. Food quality is excellent - the food is fresh and seasoning was fantastic and not overpowering. Dessert won me over...I'm a dessert kinda girl after all. Atmosphere is great - relaxing and very laid back. The fact that the weather decided to cooperate was an added bonus. Service - I'm a little biased but it was good =). Four out of five stars. Highly recommended!
